Nomura recently said that The Third Birthday is now fully playable through the early parts of the game, and the developers are working on further tuning the game. It sounds like the game is coming together, but there probably won't be gameplay footage or more info until TGS this year. I doubt the game will be able to make it out this year at all in Japan, so there's no reason for it to be at E3 at all.
