It was sadly announced to me yesterday that Sony is planning to discontinue the PS2 console due to the large amount of faulty, broken, and otherwise unable to run games. This might be why we are hearing about the PS3 being released after Christmas 2003. I don´t know about you but I was already aggravated about going to the video store, renting a game I couldn´t wait to play and finding out it didn´t work. This has happened to about 50% of the games I have rented. And not just the PS2 games, but also the Playstation games. I was told that Sony will not be refunding or exchanging the PS2 consoles for a working version or a PS3. So all of us who were idiots and didn´t buy an XBox, are shot down in the water without a lifejacket. I am very sorry to announce this and may you have great luck with your gaming future. I hope Microsoft, and Nintendo welcomes a lot of us Sony fans with open arms.
