Vivendi Universal Games and Interplay announce that they´re currently working on a sequel to last year´s Forgotten Realms-themed action RPG.
Vivendi Universal Games and Interplay have today announced that they will release a sequel to Baldur´s Gate: Dark Alliance for the PS2 and Xbox before the end of this year. Set in the Forgotten Realms world--the most popular Dungeons & Dragons campaign setting--Dark Alliance II will employ the 3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons rule set.
Baldur´s Gate: Dark Alliance II will improve upon the original game in a number of ways, as players choose one of five new customizable characters and do battle with all kinds of different monsters as they progress through the game´s varied environments completing missions and searching for hidden areas. Players will also be able to make their own magical artifacts in Dark Alliance II, using the game´s new item creation system.
No further information on Baldur´s Gate: Dark Alliance II is available at this time, but we´ll bring you more on the game as soon as it becomes available.
