Close Shot Success 30 30 - will keep doleac from going crazy in the paint, but still allows d-howard to beast around.
Mid Range Success 50 50 - I love the lost art <3 nice as it is
3PT Success 50 50 - open treys are finally falling, kick out of double teams and start loving it.
Layup Success 41 41 - will help you in defending ridiculous layups, but be choosy on offense.
Dunk Success 45 45 - people don't miss dunks that much, but it shouldn't be a sure thing when in difficult position.
Dunks in Traffic 7 7 - as I said, difficult in traffic
Screen Success 40 40 - the screen wont stick everytime, which will help you with a lot of things, particulary defending the pcik and roll & alley-oop (a lot harris-to-carter alley oops come out of a off the ball screen to carter, so keep your eyes on dunkers when the point has the ball.

Help Defense Strength 100 100 - will give you a chance of defending beasts in the paint and keep you very selective on offense even if you have a beast (inside and outside) of your own, you have to be creative.
Help Recovery 100 100 - the help D is finally there in 2k, and you gotta love it.
Attributes - The attributes in general are nice, but some tweaking has to be made in order to insure realistic feel.
Stealing - 50 50 -fine.
Blocking - 42 42 - too many blocks, good defense doesn't always mean a blocked shot.
Ball Handling - 50 50 - fine.
Dunking Ability - 46 46 - Sorry for hatin on the jet, but I don't wanna see jason terry dunk on my cats every time down the floor.
Offensive Aware -42 42 - limits CPU's awesome alley-ooping a bit (still requires careful D) but keeps the guys seemingly in the right places on offense.
Defensive Aware - 70 70 - gives u a chance to stop cpu ownage, and keeps sharp on the offensive end.
Off. Reb - 55 55 - gives u a slight chance of catching one now and then
Def. Reb - 50 50 -fine
Clutch Factor - 50 50 -not fond of the clutch, if ur clutch be clutch, don't let the cpu determine if horrys shot shot is money or not. clutch off in general.
Speed - 45 45 - basketball games these days seem arcadish and on speed sometimes
Strength - 30 30 - not 100% on this one, tried to tinker so that it wouldn't be so easy to dominate inside.
Stamina - 50 50 - fine.
Durability - 50 50 - fine.
Vertical - 45 45 - everyone can't be training with jump soles at home can they?
Quickness - 47 47 - trust me, salim stoudamire isn't THAT quick on the perimiter, and neither is anyone else, small tweak.

Hands- 50 50 - fine.
On Ball Defense - 80 80 - gives you and the AI a chance on D, against 1337 players atleast.
Injury Severity - 50 50 - fine.
Tendencies HUM CPU - these are going to be identical for both like the earlier ones. general guidelines are too keep the cpu from scoring everything in the paint and beast with the carl landrys of the nba in the paint.

Plays passing lanes 37 - i find this one important for low post d, if the defender stays between the attacker and the basket, u have a chance of avoiding him slipping past you for the easy lay-in.
Go for on-ball steal 40 - "don't just hack at the ball, you're better off playing solid D"
Contests Shots 70 - why not contest? who stands around watching guys shoot 3's in the face? This is the NBA Marv.
Use Sizeup 50 - fine.
Rules:
These rules basically allow defense, one problem is that the CPU often commits very early to layups, which makes it easy to fish charges, and if u turn them low, it will be a blocking foul and1, or just a no call. But working on it.
