The pay is good and most tow companies pay a percentage. The shifts can be long and, usually, you are call 24 hours a day. When the weather is bad you still have to go to work - and it is even busier. People get their vehicles stuck in the mud, slide off the road, break down, and get in more accidents. Sometimes the job can be dangerous, and I have to be careful, not only for myself but for my customers as well.
