DEVIL JIN
- New move, f,f+3,1,b+1+2 (3rd hit is a mid punch). Zekusu doesn’t have any ideas on how to use the move yet.
- New move, b+3, seems useless right now.
- d/f+1+2 was changed to a double punch attack, the 2nd hit options were taken out.
- The laser throw recovers slower now. No guaranteed follow up afterwards.
- After hellsweep hits up close ONLY, 1+4 can connect, but it won’t if you do dash 1+4.
- 1+4 move animation has changed. Frame properties have changed as well.
- Combo damage has been toned down.
- d/f+1,2~f,f, hellsweep ender for juggles is no longer possible.
- Recovery off d/f+1,2 is slower now. The cancel doesn’t seem to be there anymore.
- If you play Devil Jin like you played him in DR, overall he is much weaker
- d/f+2 animation has changed.
ZAFINA
HEIHACHI MISHIMA
- d/f+1,2 (twin pistons) has been removed. Instead the new move is d/f+1 into a new second hit. It no longer launches, it’s more like a hammer fist move that causes knockdown.
- New move similar to Kazuya’s d/f+3, causes unbreakable stun on CH.
- Heihachi has a new low move.
- EWGF, f,f+2, d+1 and hellsweep seem to be the same.
KAZUYA MISHIMA
- Kazuya seems to be the strongest of the Mishimas now.
- Kazuya has a new string, 1,2,4,3. The last kick is mid.
- New move, d/f+3,1
- New move, b+1+2 which is similar to Heihachi’s b+2. Does not stun on CH.
- New mid, mid string. b+1,2.
JIN KAZAMA
- From the limited play time with Jin, there doesn’t seem to be any noticeable changes with his game play.
ASUKA KAZAMA
- Asuka’s old f,f+2 from T5DR is now done by inputting SS+2.
- Her new f,f+2 is the 2nd hit from d/f+1,2 string in DR. On counter hit it shifts into the auto throw.
- New string, 2,1,1+2. The last hit throws the opponent down and can be cancelled.
- Asuka can now do the last kick of b+2,1+2,4 as a normal move.
- Most of her animation is the same as T5DR.
MARSHALL LAW
- Law has a new low, high string. His right foot kicks the opponent on their shin, the left leg then throws out a high kick. This move is from the final fight in Bruce Lee’s “Way of the Dragon” (Also called “Return of the Dragon”.
- Law had a new costume that was similar to the one where Bruce Lee fought Sammo Hung in “Game of Death.”
- His item move is done with the nunchaku. The animation is similar to Maxi’s movement in Soul Calibur.
- You can use Law’s item move infinitely. When you do the move Law takes out the nunchuaku to do the hit attack then hides it afterwards.
- Law’s movement/animation has changed and is more like Maxi’s movement from Soul Calibur.
- DSS/DFS seems to be the same as T5DR.
- The animation for b+1,2,1 is different.
- Many of the other moves have different animations as well.
RAVEN
- New move. FC 1+2, Raven vanishes for a short period of time. During the move you can input 4 and his d/f+3+4 from T5DR comes out. Inputting 2 during the move will give you his old d/f+1+2 from T5DR.
- The command of d/f+1+2 and d/f+3+4 are no longer there.

STEVE FOX
- Steve has a new stance. It’s the “peek a boo” stance done by inputting f+3+4 or 3+4, f+3+4. The motion is similar to the main character’s fighting style in Hajime No Ippo.
- From the “peek a boo” stance, you can use a 1 or 2 punch. His 1+3 throw from the stance is 6-8 punches. If the throw whiffs, you recover back in “peek a boo” stance.
- According to Namco staff, you are stationary during the stance and can’t do any movement.
- d/f+2 launches on counter hit only.
- b+1 range is longer. It is now easier to connect combos on counter hit.
- f,b+1,1,2,1 is either removed from the game or has a completely new notation.
- Animation on the third hit of 1,1,2 has been altered.
- f,f,N+2 in T5DR has changed it’s input back to f,f+2(like in Tekken 4). The T5DR f,f+2 was either removed or has a new notation.
- d/f+1+2 sonic fang pushes back less on guard, compared to T5DR.
BAEK DOO SAN
- New move. SS+3+4 which launches on hit.
- Animation on WS+4 strings were changed slightly.
- According to Namco staff, Baek has fewer animation changes than most characters because his animations were already redone in T5DR.
HWOARANG
- New move. f,N,d,d/f+3. Mid kick, with long range.
- LFS 3,3, strings/cancels were removed.
- New moves in LFS. One long rage move and another move that tracks to the left side.
- f,N,d/f+4 Talon Sky Rocket(Just Frame Sky Rocket) is now more difficult to do than T5DR.
- WS+4,4 range has been increased.
LEE CHAOLAN
- The third hit options after f,N+3,4 are now gone.
- The last part of 4,3,4 is either impossible or very hard to do as a wall ender now.
- T6 Lee looks older
RAVEN
- f+2 in T5DR is now f,f+2 in T6.
- QCF+2(hold 2) now cancels the move and goes into BT.
- Another guy posted that 3+4 makes Raven vanish(not FC 1+2). New move may have tech crouch status.
BRUCE IRVIN
- d/f+4 has new options. After d/f+4 you can link it to a new low kick, left mid hook, or a left high punch into knee strike.
- The T5DR d/f+1,2 either has a new notation or has been removed.
- When you do d/f+1 in Tekken 6 you get the T5DR move d/f+1+2.
- d/f+1 into the high punch is still in. There is also a mid punch option. The low kick option was taken out.
- WS+2,1 and b+2 seem to have the same properties.
- New move. f,f+3 is a different type of mid spin-kick.
- New move. 2,1,1+2, on hit throws the opponent down. Third hit of the string can be cancelled.
- f+3 on CH is a different stun now, it can be broken. f+3 links into a high punch option.
- 1,2,3 is now gone.
- 1,2,d+4 is still in.
- The animation of f+2 has changed, f+2,3 second hit does the SS+3 kick from T5DR.
PAUL PHOENIX
- New move, d/f+3,4. Similar to Hwoarang’s d/f+3,4.
LEI WULONG
- New move, d/f+1,1,1 string.
- d+3+4 animation has changed.
YOSHIMITSU
- Pogo stance ~f and f,f animation has changed.
- After f+3+4 hits Yoshi can enter helicopter stance by doing f+3+4~U.
- It seems Yoshimitsu’s juggles are a bit harder to do.
- Old d/f+1 series has been removed or has different notation.
- Yoshimitsu has a new stance/transition.
FENG WEI
- b+3+4 has been changed, it no longer goes to kenpo step parry. It’s now a low kick.
- b+3 kick from b+3,1 string can now be cancelled into BT by doing b+3~B.
- New move, BT 2+3. Feng now has a throw which he can do while in back turned state.
ANNA WILLIAMS
- WS+2 is now punishbale.
- The hit box for her u/b+3 kick is now smaller.
- The mixup between her FC d/f+2 and WS+2 is now much weaker against sidestep.
NINA WILLIAMS
- New multi throw starter and branches.
- New move, low swipe with her arm. On CH it shifts into another move.
- WS+1,2 has been removed.
- New Move, WS+1,1+2. When WS+1 hits, the followup is guaranteed
BRYAN FURY
- New Move, 3 hit string that is about 14 frames in speed. Natural combo and KND on normal hit. Also causes wallstun. Safe on block.
- Frame advantage when WS+3 hits has been reduced.
