MARVEL: ULTIMATE ALLIANCE IS HERE!!
And to celebrate the launch, we´ve got a couple more confirmations for those of you who wanted it - but warning that this does reveal two additional unlockables in the game. So don´t keep reading if you don´t want to know. However, since from our recent poll, 81% of you said you DO want to know all the playable characters in the game including unlockables, then we decided to confirm them for you! As many of you saw in the launch trailers, DAREDEVIL is an unlockable playable character in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance! Daredevil doesn´t need much introduction. Lawyer Matt Murdock, who found his senses dramatically increased after he lost his sight, is truly one of the most daring of Super Heroes - the man without fear. While attending Columbia University, Murdock met on again off again love Elektra Natchios. One of his most hated enemies is Bullseye, who is also revealed to be in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.

Daredevil´s various outfits are his Original garb (yes, Daredevil once favored yellow over his now famous red!), Classic outfit, Armored and Marvel Knight costumes.
Daredevil´s daring moves in the game include:
Baton Smash - Attacks with baton. Stuns enemies when charged.
Baton Throw - Uses baton to fling an enemy into the air.
Extensive Strike - Forcefully extend baton towards enemy.
Devastation - Spin around with baton causing knockback.
Charge - Charge at the enemy and pop them up into the air baton.
Blind Sight - Show all enemies on the mini-map and increase the damage inflicted.
Hyper Sense - Slows down time except for Daredevil and his allies.
Devil´s Onslaught - Whips both batons around doing Physical damage - Xtreme attack.
Special Throw - Quickly toss an enemy away in an acrobatic maneuver using his legs.

Also confirmed as a playable character is none other than the man who brought the alliance together in the first place - NICK FURY! Always an adventurer, Nick Fury joined the army at the start of WWII and quickly became the leader of the Howling Commandos. Given the Infinity Formula during his time in the CIA drastically increased his life span. Fury was recruited by Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, to head the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization and ever since is poised to counteract and threat to world peace.

You will see lots of different comic looks for Nick Fury in the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance game. His Classic outfit is featured in the in-game cinematics, while a similar looking Stealth mode is good for increasing power. Those more familiar with Nick Fury in his Ultimate incarnation need not be disappointed as you can play in both an Ultimate and General Fury outfits. As for his moves, they definitely take advantage of his arsenal of weapons.
Furious - Grab and slam a nearby victim onto the ground.
SMG - Pull out a submachine gun and fire.
Frag - Toss a grenade, explodes in a radius.
Sniper - Use high-powered rifle to shoot a single enemy. Fires on release giving a 25% chance for knockout - increased to 50% if victim is stunned.
Motion Sensor - Reveals all enemies on the mini-map, also decreases damage for the entire party.
Cloaking Device - Go into stealth mode, all attacks have greater chance of causing critical strikes.
S.H.I.E.L.D. Strike - Xtreme attack that calls down an air strike on all visible enemies. Also increases damage inflicted by other attacks in sequence.
Special Throw - Uses an invisible cord to choke his enemy.

Sif - A warrior of Asgard, Sif is extremely long-lived, super-humanly strong, immune to all diseases and resistant to conventional injury.

Tyr - Also one of the Asgardian Gods, often attributed as the God of War. He is a master in unarmed combat as well as proficient in all forms of Asgardian weaponry.

Valkyrie - An adventurer, alias Samantha Parrington, who has often been affiliated with the Defenders. Parrington can mystically assume to superhumanly strong and durable form of the Valkyrie Brunnhilde, who was far stronger than even an Asgardian Goddess.

Gladiator - A peacekeeper of the Shi´ar Empire and member of the Imperial Guard. Gladiator is an alien possessed of numerous abilities, first and foremost being an extraordinary strength. He can also survive unprotected in the vacuum of outer space and can project intense beams of heat from his eyes.

Skrull Queen - The Queen of the alien Skrull society who once attempted invasion of Earth but were stopped by the Fantastic Four. Skrulls have the ability to transform their body into any shape they wish.

Namorita - Half-human cousin of Atlantis´s Prince Namor. Possesses superhuman strength, speed, durability, agility and reflexes.

Winter Soldier - aka James Buchanon Bames and sometimes called Bucky, Winter Soldier is a freelance assassin and former sidekick of Captain America. He is skilled at hand-to-hand combat and an extremely accurate marksman. He also possesses a bionic left arm, which increases his strength significantly.

SPIDER SENSES - BLACK WIDOW (PSP) AND SPIDER-WOMAN CONFIRMED

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance launches THIS WEEK in the US!! The game is being shipped out TOMORROW (Tuesday 10-24) which means it will be in-store on Wednesday 10-25 but for some lucky people may even hit the stores on Tuesday! Keep an eye out and don´t forget to keep checking with your favorite retailer to make sure that your copy has arrived. Xbox 360, Xbox, PS2, PSP, PC and GBA should all be in-store this week in the US - and PS3, Wii and international product will follow up in November.
So what do we have leading up to the launch? First of all, we have confirmation of the final PSP-exclusive character - and this one may come as a surprise to all... the final 4th exclusive playable on PSP is none other than Black Widow! And her move list includes:
Controlled Burst - Attack that has a 50% chance to kill stunned enemies.
Weeping Willow - Blasts enemies with tear gas, inflicting initial damage and damage over time.
Flash Bang - Spins around unleashing stun grenades that knock back, damage and stun enemies.
Knife Bomb - Utilizes a knife in her boot that deals exploding damage.
Widow´s Charm - Fires pheromone pellets that charm enemies and force them to attack each other.
Soviet Strike - Increases melee damage.
Red Dawn - Activates force field.
Russian Fury - Releases a furious volley of fire, tearing down everything in her path.

His move list includes:
Nebula Beam - Releases a blast of energy by tapping into cosmic energies.
Negablast - Shockwave that knocks back and damages enemies.
Star Beam - Charged energy beam attack.
Shooting Star - Energy blast that fires our shooting stars.
Star Fall - Energy rains and rips through enemies.
Cosmic Rage - Boosts speed and power for a limited period of time.
Nega-Phase - Phases to a negative dimension to heal and become invisible.
Big Bang - Pulls in the power of the cosmos which explodes and does massive damage.
And finally, we are pleased to confirm Spider-Woman is playable across all platforms from the beginning of the game! Also known as Jessica Drew, she was placed in suspended animation after being exposed to a lethal amount of radiation. Emerging years later as Spider-Woman, not having aged at all, Jessica was unwittingly used by HYDRA, an international terrorist organization, that tricked her into attacking S.H.I.E.L.D. and Nick Fury. She soon realized she was being duped and teamed up with S.H.I.E.L.D., and even Spider-Man himself, to take down HYDRA.
In the game, her movelists includes:
Venom Blast - Shoots a bioelectric beam that pierces multiple enemies if fully charged.
Ensnare - Throws out several incapacitating traps that deliver Energy Damage.
Spider´s Blood - Throws a bouncing projectile that causes Energy Damage and has a 50% chance to stun..
Bio-Electric Surge - Releases a powerful radial blast.
Spider´s Bite - Spawns several energy balls from both her feet and hands.
Attract - Uses a pheromone that causes enemies to focus on her.
Metabolic Aura - Healing aura surrounds herself and allies.
Bio Web - Weaves a bio-electric web that breaks, causing Energy Damage, with a chance to turn enemies into allies for a time.
Special Throw - Spider-Woman grabs the enemy by the throat and zaps them with venom-electricity powers.
You will see her in her Classic, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., Secret Wars and Spider-Girl outfits once the game launches.
