j´ai un petit probleme
avec mon panther, je pouvai dropper des fichiers sur les applications qui sont dans le dock
depuis que je suis passé a tiger, j´y arrive plus...

vous avez une idée pour activer ca ?

il faut peut-etre tout simplemment que l´application dans laquelle tu veut dropper soit ouverte non?

comme le dit H2O normallemnet, je pose un fichier sur n´importe quelle application et ca m´ouvre mes fichiers acev cette application...
ici, ca ne marche pas... je sais pas pourquoi et ca me fais ca avec toutes les applications du dock...

j´ai pas installé de connerie, rien pour tunner mon OS X, l´ordi est instalé depuis 3 jours...

la vertion de tiger, c´est celle livrée avec mon powerbook... j´ose espérer que c´est une finale

Moi avec Mac OS X.4 ça marche très bien.
Par contre ça dépends quand même du programme et du fichier ( on ne peut pas ouvrir un lien http avec QuickTime Player par exemple).

Au passage, un petit truc sympa pour obliger une appli à tenter d´ouvrir un fichier qui, à première vue, n´en veut pas ( toujours dans la technique de drop dans le dock):
Prenez le fichier, et, avant de le jeter sur l´appli qui est dans le dock, appuyez simultanément sur Option+Pomme, et normalement, l´appli se grise, et elle va tenter d´ouvrir le fichier.

for the dock-thing:
i have the same problem!

i bought a powerbook with tiger recently. i think i didn´t have the problem in the beginning . .. but now - no matter what type of document i choose - i can no longer drag+drop them onto the icons in my dock. they won´t highlight ( darken) . ..

if i press apple+alt the icons will darken but the document won´t open anyway.

i have tried all forums in germany but found no solution . ..

maybe here someone will have the answer?

one strange thing is: if i change the profile from my main ( admin) profile to the guest-profile then it works! is it the same with you, jean_claude_dus?

yeah, i´m afraid that´s it - have to re-install.

it seems like it´s the update to 10.4.1 that produces this problem!

so i´d rather wait for the next update before i try 10.4.1 again ; )

( the only thing i´m still wondering about is: why does the dock work in my guest-profile? maybe i´ll try making a new admin-account before re-installing tiger!!!??!??!?????)
