News and updates
News and updates can be found at http://www.postpose.com/aquaduct/
While we have been able to test this to some degree, it is BETA SOFTWARE, and it does have bugs. We´re releasing Aquaduct at this stage because it does work, and we know that there are people out there who would like to be able to use their Mac to play Halo and other Xbox games online.
You and only you are responsible if Aquaduct eats something it shouldn´t.
Feel free to email Dylan, the author, at pfhorslayer@mac.com if you need help, if you find a bug that we haven´t discovered yet, or if you´re just interested in a game of Halo or two.
We can also be reached at postpose@mac.com, and can usually be found on GameRanger most evenings; look for PfhorSlayer. In addition, we have a web forum set up at http://www.cafeosx.com/viewforum.php?forum=12&75 that we invite you to participate in, as well as a chapter at Bungie´s Halo fansite, the 7th Column, located at http://www.bungie.net/perlbin/blam.pl?file=/fanclub/1935.
Current Requirements
- A Macintosh, connected to your local area network, running Mac OS X 10.1 or later. Aquaduct does not run on Mac OS 9 or earlier Mac OSes ( but may run on Mac OS X 10.0, but we haven´t tried it).
- An Xbox, connected to your local network via a hub, switch, or router.
- An admin or root password for your computer.
- A broadband Internet connection. Both your Mac and your Xbox should be outside the firewall, if you have one; this is definitely required for hosting, and may be required for connecting.
- Friends who have Aquaduct and all of the above.
How to use Aquaduct
