NO SIGNING WITH RUSSIA FOR JAGR.
NEW YORK DAILY NEWS: John Dellapina reported today the new agreement between the NHL and the IIHF prohibits Jaromir Jagr from playing in Russia if his rights are still held by the New York Rangers. The only way Jagr could do this is if the Blueshirts buy him out, which apparently they have no intention of doing. If so, Jagr must then return to the Rangers next season.
Spector´s Note: My thanks to Jmol2112. I thought there was a stipulation regarding this and I´m appreciative this was brought to my attention.
