I´ve just spent few minutes reading random posts in this topic. An english topic is a good idea but I´ve noticed that the most part of the posts are composed by short sentences or few words. There are some discussions and it could have been interesting to develop them more ...No?
So, I´m asking this question to YOU , english speakers and learners,
"Do you think that the methods used in france to teach english to students are really efficient?"

I´m asking you this question because the kids and teenagers I use to help in english told me that english was boring, that they were not interested...That the lessons wrere stupid".
?? ??? are the teachers so pitiful????

I hope that my post isn´t full of mistakes, it´s a bit late and I´m exhausted .

Ptiko: Yes, there are few developped posts but everybody doesn´t have your english level ^_^

So, I learn english since CE2 but during my CE2, CM1 and CM2 years , my english teacher repeated the same things so, we didn´t avance very much but we had good bases.
In college, and lycée today, I´ve got good results in English, but I don´t know if those results have a link with my bases.
I think my college teachers were also good...

But, if your students told you that english is boring, say to us to listen and learn english songs they love! If they learn the songs´ lyrics, I think it´s a very good method and they won´t think it´s boring, sure!

Hey, at last an forumer who has the same level as I have in english ^_^. No, just kiddin´ nico ! Goldy, you´re a lyar and a hipocryte ! I remember you did an article in the DP about the new topics whiwh were under discussion and I remember too you said my ´pic wasn´t a bad idea in order to improve the english of everyone ! Why did you change your mind ?
