Italian starlet Lorenzo De Silvestri is ready to shun interest in his services from some of Europe´s biggest hitters in order to forge a career at Lazio.

The teenager is the captain of his country´s Under-17 side and has been tipped for greatness by many respected observers in Italy.

Real Madrid and Arsenal are rumoured to have been alerted to his precocious talents and have asked to kept abreast of developments.

The talented winger is aware of the rumours, but intends to stay in the Eternal City despite not being offered a professional contract as yet.

" I read the Real story and I smiled," he told Corriere dello Sport. " But then I understood it was real and I feared it a little.

" They [Real] and Arsenal have followed me. I have no fear going abroad, but I want to be a player in Italy.

" What I´m interested in more is being managed by Lazio, because I´m a Lazio player.

" The contract is an aspect, not the only one, but it counts."

De Silvestri is convinced that a suitable agreement with Lazio will be found.

" The words of the club´s general director have convinced me, but now I´d like it to be serious.

" I pretend nothing, but I´d like another season like this one. But I want Lazio, this has to be clear. And I believe in Lazio."

une petite question pour les lazialistes que devient lequi? il joue regulierment ou pas?

Bhein c´est l´age de Nesta a ses debuts dans l´equipe premiere de la lazio
Et puis un jeune de son age ne coute pas enormement donc c est toujours bon a avoir

on l´annoncait comme un grand defenseur
il a d´ailleur joué 34 matchs avec l´Atletico Madrid l´année passée
Mais chez nous . .. rien
6 matchs joués dont 4 fois titulaires ( pourtant c´est pas les occasions de l´aligner qui ont manqué!)
