We were finally able to get hold of a person at the international mail center through which your parcel was sent. It´s incredible how slow these post offices reply, but that´s probably not much different in your part of the world. We have received confirmation that the parcel was forwarded to your country´s mail hub already before Christmas, and that the package must have been stuck somewhere in the delivery process over there.
We have given a deadline to the post office to resolve the problem within 14 days, and to make this threat a bit more effective we have told them that we will stop sending parcels with them if they don´t get back to us lightning fast (lets see if these guys actually speak our language).
Apparently they know that during the Christmas peak, post offices and customs offices in many countries do not try a second delivery attempt if no one is at home, and they may even have piles of parcels stacked in their offices these days. So now would be a good time to call or visit your post office and also call customs to try to get your parcel.
The same thing has happened to other customers as well, but some luckily received their parcel in the meantime, while others were able to hunt it down at the post office or customs. Some even just found it in their mailbox last week, so many weeks after it had been sent.
Should you also have received your parcel, please let us know so we can update our file and also let the mail center know that it arrived.
Once more, we apologize for the troubles caused by all these delays and back and forth e-mail about your parcel. For your next parcel, we suggest that you use a courier or at least registered Airmail instead. Normally we don´t really have too many problems with lost or delayed parcels.
