Game Cube and Rare continue on

Rare will continue to produce games for Game Cube despite the recent Nintendo Vs Rare spat
The recent hostile statement by Nintendo, regarding the selling of their 49% stake in Rare, could have had a damaging effect on Rare´s continued support for Game Cube. Thankfully, that doesn´t seem the case.
That Microsoft would buy Nintendo´s share of Rare, was probably the worse kept games industry secret of the new millennium. However, the industry as a whole felt that Rare would stick with producing games for Game Cube.
But Nintendo´s leaving ´shot´ at Rare threatened to sour relationships to the point that the two wouldn´t work together again. Co-founder of Rare, Joel Hochberg has, we´re glad to say, nipped any speculation of this kind in the bud when he told MSNBC, "We still plan to work on games for Game Cube in the future."
Small statement, big deal.
