voila j´ai une amie qui posséde yahoo messenger tt comme moi,moi je sais utilisé la fonction vocal mais elle,elle ne peut pas elle recois un message d´erreur style:
le module de compression necessaire au systeme de tchatche vocale n est pas instalé sur votre ordi

je ne comprend pas la panne,on lui demande d´efectue certaine tache mais le didactitiel est prevu pour win 95-98 win 200 et NT

mais nous nous possédont winXP donc les conseil du didactitiel ne fonctionne pas . .. !

Audio compression codec installation instructions.
Yahoo! Voice Chat requires the GSM True Speech codec in order to compress voice data for efficient data transmission. This codec comes as part of your Windows operating system.
If you do not have this codec installed, or if it is corrupted, you may need to reinstall the codec. Make sure you select the correct set of instructions depending on whether you are using Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT.
Follow these instructions if you are running Windows 95 or Windows 98:
1. Press the " Start" button in the lower left corner of the screen.
2. Select " Settings," then " Control Panel."
3. Double-click the " Multimedia" icon. The Multimedia Properties window should be displayed.
4. Click on the " Advanced" tab.
5. Click on the plus-symbol ( +) next to " Audio Compression Codecs" to expand the list of installed codecs.
6. If " DSP Group TrueSpeech(TM) Audio CODEC" is displayed, go to step 18.
7. If " DSP Group TrueSpeech(TM) Audio CODEC" is not displayed, it needs to be installed. You will need your Windows CD-ROM ( or will need to locate the Windows installation files on your computer).
8. In the Control Panel window, double-click the " Add New Hardware" icon. The Add New Hardware wizard should be displayed.
9. Press the " Next" button.
10. You will be asked if you want to search for your new hardware. Select " No," then press the " Next" button.
11. Select " Sound," " Video," and " Game Controllers" from the list of hardware types and press the " Next" button.
12. Select " DSP Group" from the Manufacturers list and " TrueSpeech(TM) Software CODEC" from the Models list, then press the " Next" button.
13. Press the " Finish" button.
14. You may be prompted for the location of your Windows CD-ROM. Enter the correct location and press OK.
15. You will be prompted to restart Windows. You may restart now or later, but the codec will not be available until you restart your computer.
16. If you are still receiving the same error message after restarting your computer, continue to the next step.
17. Open the Multimedia Devices window as directed in steps 1-5.
18. Select " DSP Group TrueSpeech(TM) Audio CODEC" from the list of Multimedia Devices and press the " Properties" button. The Properties window is displayed.
19. Verify that " Use this audio codec" is selected and press the " OK" button.
20. Press the " OK" button in the Multimedia Properties window and try using voice chat again.

13. Select " DSP Group TrueSpeech(TM) Audio CODEC" from the list of Multimedia Devices, and press the " Properties" button. The Properties window is displayed.
14. Verify that " Use this audio codec" is selected and press the " OK" button.
15. Press the " OK" button in the Multimedia Properties window, and try to start a voice chat again.
