En voyant la new sur Assassin's Creed hier et les commentaires allant avec, je me suis posé la question suivante :

Si un enfant (le votre, ou votre petit frère /neveu /cousin /filleul /enfant d'ami) vient vous voir et vous demande un jeu que vous n'aimez pas ou que vous considérez comme mauvais pour le JV (repétitif, standardisé, etc... ), ou comme une "arnaque" (peu d'ajouts par rapport à un jeu précédent, jeu à DLC payants...) mais qui n'est pas à proprement parler un mauvais jeu, lui achèteriez-vous ?

Le but du sondage n'est pas de savoir si tel ou tel jeu vous déplaît même si vous pouvez donner des exemples, mais simplement de savoir votre comportement dans le cas où vous auriez à offrir un jeu que vous détestez pour des raisons autres que la qualité "technique" du jeu, sachant qu' un enfant n'a pas les mêmes préoccupations qu' un adulte.

Pour ma part je lui achèterai après lui avoir fait découvrir d'autres jeux et si malgré cela il n'a pas changé d'avis. Je ne me vois pas partir dans des débats obscurs sur l'argent et l'avenir du JV avec un gamin. Si j'arrive à lui montrer qu' il existe autre chose que les grosses productions annuelles, tant mieux, mais un cadeau reste un cadeau et le but doit être pour moi de faire plaisir au destinataire et de prendre plaisir à faire plaisir.

C'est le geste qui compte

Quand je fais un cadeau c'est pour faire plaisir à la personne à qui je fais mon cadeau, pas me faire plaisir à moi. Donc pour moi la question ne se pose même pas.

C'est aux gens de se faire leur propre parcours, je vais pas forcer quelqu'un à s'intéresser à quelque chose sous prétexte que je pense que c'est mieux. S'il me demande des conseils et des suggestions, ok mais s'il fait pas la démarche de lui même c'est pas à moi de la faire pour lui.

Lorsque je fais un cadeau, mes goûts perso ne rentre pas en compte, ce sont les goûts de la personne qui m’intéresse.

Ca ne me pose pas de problème. S'il est sur de vouloir ce jeu, je le lui achète même si je n'aime pas. Au moins, il sera content.

Si le mec il veut jouer aux Sims ou à GTA, c'est pas pour découvrir d'autres jeux underground.

La question est un peu bête, on fait un cadeau pour faire plaisir à la personne, pas à soi-même, s'il aime le jeu en question, je vois pas où est le problème...

Puis bon, si en 2014 en arrive à considérer un AC comme un "mauvais" jeu, c'est preuve que le niveau de qualité du jv dans sa globalité est plus haut qu'il n'a jamais été

C'est plus le PEGI qui devrait être respecté à un certain age quand même. Si l'enfant à 10/12 ans je me vois pas lui offrir un Assassin's Creed même si il aime la saga.

Mais sinon en effet ce sont plus les goûts de la personne qui sont à prendre en compte, si on la connait bien on doit connaitre un peu ses goûts et essayer de s'en rapprocher.

D'abord je lui offrirai le cadeau qu'il veut pour gagner en estime, puis j'en profite pour lui en faire découvrir d'autre après.

Oh y'en a plein des gens qui font un cadeau en se faisant à plaisir à eux avant de songer à faire plaisir à celui qui reçoit. Rien que dans mon entourage je pense très fort à cet ami d'enfance très pieux qui m'a offert le nouveau testament ou encore à cette amie à fond dans son trip "écolo bobo hippie new age" qui m'a offert un livre de recette sur les 1001 façons de cuisiner les herbes sauvages ou encore cette même amie qui m'a offert un machin pour fabriquer son propre compost alors que j'habite dans un putain d'appartement sans jardin !

Si c'est un truc vraiment injouable et décevant (on en a tous reçu, des jeux d'aventure qui avaient l'air cool sur la jaquette), je vais l'orienter vers autre chose. Mais si c'est son truc de s'éclater sur un Lapin Crétin ou NHL14, alors je vois pas le problème.

Non je l'offrirai quand même si le gosse veut expressément ce jeu la...
Les goûts personnel ne sont pas important quand on offre quelque chose , ce sont les goûts de la personne a qui l'on offre qui sont importants...

Ca dépend. Y a deux cas où je me vois parfaitement refuser de prendre tel jeu:
- le cas où la personne à qui le cadeau est destiné est jeune et/ou influençable, je vais pas aller à l'encontre du PEGI. Pas question d'acheter un COD à un môme de 12 ans. Et même s'il est adulte, je dois admettre que j'hésiterais un peu.
- le cas où le jeu qu'il demande est un clair copier-coller d'un jeu qu'il a déjà. Genre lui offrir FIFA 15 alors qu'il a FIFA 14 (note que le même raisonnement peut s'appliquer à COD). De un, c'est franchement pas rendre service que d'encourager quelqu'un dans son monocentrisme vidéoludique, et de deux c'est quand même mon argent avec lequel j'ai pas envie d'investir dans des doublons à 60€.

Salut je n'aime pas les jeux de sports en général et surtout les jeux de foot mon fils oui et je les lui achete sans pbl chaqu'un ses goûts.

Je ne prends pas en compte mes goûts, mais ceux de la personne à qui j'offre le cadeau Un cadeau est un cadeau.

Je l'ai déjà fait plein de fois ça me dérange pas plus que ça.

Si on devait prendre en compte nos gouts perso pour faire un cadeau non seulement on serait bien egoiste mais quel merdier.

Pour le jeux video ok la personne peut decouvrir le jeu qu'on aime nous mais pourquoi le forcer si de base il veut autre chose.

J'imagine ca pour d'autre cas genre un vetement rouge alors qu'on aime le noir ou un parfum au gout de l'offreur mais pas du notre...

Qui plus est le meilleur moyen de tester ou degouter un joueur est bel est bien de jouer au jeu, peu importe les critiques, de ce fait il se creer sa propre experience et soit il aime et il continue a acheter sa serie (cod,fifa, ac par exemple) soit justement il n'aime plus ou pas et la il demande autre chose de lui meme.
